Last Night

What a night! I caught up with Porter Robinson before the show for a chat about The Drop, ‘Hot Problems‘ and life on the road. This guy has energy that is so inspiring, a singular drive to create music that is out of this world. Keep your eye on this one, because he’s going far. And he’s only nineteen. The whole interview will be out in the next issue of KNEON, out in August!

Today’s outfit

American Apparel striped top, Michael Kors sweater, H&M pants, Zara boots, Bag from Beijing, ASOS sunnies

A little matchy-matchy with all the purple, but I’ll live. These were taken by Anna Hugo, with whom I’m starting a new local art project based here in Vienna. I’m really really excited about the progress so far, can’t wait to share it with you guys when things are more definite.

In other news, spring has finally sprung in Vienna. Occasional moody skies, but that’s a part of the norm. I wandered into three optic stores today, looking for My Next Reading Glasses, a mission that always seems to give me the jitters. Just ’cause I have a flat nose-bridge and glasses keep slipping off if they don’t have that thingy (an asian’s first world problems, I swear). Anyway, I have a shoot with a stunning girl planned tomorrow, so I’m off to put some outfits together. Talk later! x

Vienna on 35mm

I prefer shooting film so much more than digital. Not because the photos look any better (mine are so horrifically dark and blurry), but because you get to enjoy the moment more by just taking a snap and then forgetting about it, rather than checking the photo and -oh no god forbid your eyes were closed in that one- taking twenty more.

And thank you all again for your constant comments. I wish I could browse through your blogs and comment back as I used to, but these days I barely have time to even blog. I do read every single comment, and it means so much to me you’re following, reading and leaving genuine ideas and thoughts! I really have such quirkily fun readers. Love to you all!
